Is it possible that my car blows starters?

I was having problems starting my car, just getting a slow clicking noise. Ran some tests found it was probably the starter had it tested and it was shot so we replaced it and the car started once. Now it is back to clicking. We took the rebuilt starter

I have had bad starters come out of the box before, particularly at Auto-Zone and Checker Auto Parts. I won't go to them for electrical equipment. I've never had a problem with a NAPA starter or alternator.
