what is the difference between a radiator and a radiator assembly?

my car was in an accident. the estimate states repl qual repl parts radiator assy auto trans. Does this mean they are replacing my radiator?

Possibly the entire front section that the radiator bolts to was damaged also. It may also mean that the radiator and electric fan/s and shrouds were damaged.

When in doubt, ask the shop who's going to repair the car or the insurance adjuster
