triumph thruxton 2006, looking to buy, will the air cooled engine last, assuming proper maintenance?

i don't understand why triumph can't at least oil cool the engine? will be first bike, any input appreciated

The engine will have no problems lasting as long as you do regular oil changes.
I owned a 2002 Bonneville which I rode all through an Australian summer (40+ heat) did many rides to Brisbane (600 kms) sitting on 120 kph, never had a problem.
