Engine knocking?

After 1st 5 minutes of driving, as the car engine heats up, it starts knocking vociferously. It loses pickup and seems completely out-tuned. But this works fine when not heated and also if weather is cold.

I just got the car serviced and

You are going to have to take your car back to the mechanic when it is warm. So he can listen to it, and diag. the problem, to you, and the cost of repairs.
