Installing alternator on tractor with positive ground.?

Hey Guys,
I'd like to install a one wire Delco alternator on my Oliver 66 tractor, which is currently operating with positive gouund. Can I just reverse the cables to negative ground and change the other wires accordingly. This is a 12 volt system.

all can tell you about is the alternator

take the term. that is closest to the batt. term. on the alt. and jump it over to the batt. term the other term is not needed in this app. trust me i do on all my fords when an alt. ges out
