How do I reset the Brake pad sensor light on a BMW 528i?

I replaced the pads and also installed a new sensor. However, the light is still on. I tried disconnecting the batter for about a minute or so, and that didn't work. Perhaps longer? I also tried leaving the key on position two for a few minutes, but
The light should have gone off by now. Did you replace both sensors? (Front and rear)
Check your work.
